Anyway, I was a commuter today. I am overweight and my 'standing' time today was beyond my normal range. I was standing and walking the whole time, under the freaking heat of the sun and engulfing the effin' pollution in Manila. It's like 100 degrees outside plus humidity.
All these whining because I had no choice. It's crap when you have no options and its crappier if you are left with the crappiest experience being sweaty and smelling like the sun [ walking under its heat, in search of the cab, while feeling the lube in your butt after having a rectal exam.] Phew!
What's nice was, I sat beside this lady in the train endorsing her diamond peeling (prounounced 'Feeling') services to me. Commendable personality. Well, quite a relief actually, since talking to her meant disregarding my adamant silent cursing for the entire expedition. I didn't buy the home-service diamond peeling offer her company does but I was kinda bought with the thought of Obagi [and how I really want to visit Japan].
More to highlight my day was my first dining-alone moment in KFC! I was so hungry I couldn't care at all. I also visited the malls attached to the train stations I went to. To top my ultimate commuter experience off, I bought corn on the cob from the sidewalk vendor on my way home!
Went straight to the shower and made extra scrubbing to my feet. I was only wearing my Ipanema's and I feared that my not-so-pretty feet would become err, not pretty at all!
Oh I am superficial! So superficial!
